Confessions of a Night Owl
There is no early in this bird
No worms to catch
This bird like to snooze in
The early morning
Likes to roll over and catch
A few more winks
This bird hangs with the
Owls – hooting in the dark
Inside a book
Love it, being somewhat of an night owl myself.

I may not be a night owl but I have a soft spot for them! Nice one, Candy!

That last line was a surprise. There are some who can really read and work through the night. Me, am an early riser.

i really liked the structure of the poem, ending with in a book was like a tightly closed lid!
