d’Verse Quadrille #27 – giggle
De has us laughing over our Quadrilles today.
Here’s my silly offering.
—
Sleepover
we booked the gig(gle)
for Friday night
and I wore a wig(gle)
just for laughs
we danced a jig(gle)
until the street lights came on
by the glow of a flashlight
we read poetry
until our eyes drooped
and the words were mere squiggles
YES. I was hoping somebody would play with parens! 🙂 This poem gives me giggly (gle)e, Candy. 🙂

That sounds like an enjoyable sleepover. I liked gig, wig, jig words.

This is how children should play.

I do know about words turning to squiggles – a sign of sleep soon to come.
Love your fun words too!
Kind regards

A flashlight is a must for a fun sleepover. Reminds me of hiding under my blankets and reading with a flashlight, so my parents didn’t know I was still up. 🙂
