d’Verse Poets Pub -Quadrille #40 – free
Dee is asking for some “free” poems over at the Pub
~
Free Love Poem
this poem tries to speak freely
a little genteelly, but really
it wants to shout words that
do wheelies, leave tracks you
could follow, fee-falling head
over heelies, straight through
clouds of free(zing) crystal
sentences it gathers into lines
of (free) love for you
YESSSSSSS. Loves me some “this poem” poems, and this one rocks. Love that “zing” (I did that too- fun!) and all that rhyme. Wonderful, Candy.

A lot of uses of “free” here. Did you mean “free-falling” in the fifth line?

Love the wildness of the cartwheeling fun, the overwhelming joy of falling in love.

I like this take on the prompt and the rhymes. Well done.

what is “proper” vs. what we want to do… nice use of rhyme and just sweet abandon.
