Paint Me
Paint me into a corner, and then
Paint your beating heart upon my lonely heart
Paint long-stemmed roses on my nose and
Paint love songs on my empty ears
Paint wet kisses onto my parched lips
Cover me in paint until I am no longer blank
A place for poems and pics
Oh, this is beautiful, and the repetition works so well. It didn’t come up on Mr Linky – there was a page not found notice, and then I clicked on the link that suggested. I’m glad I did, because it’s gorgeous.

I’m so glad you found it. I’m not sure what I do wrong, but I sometimes end up with a broken link. Hmmm ….. that sounds like it has poem potential 😁

Beautiful and vulnerable writing, Candy. I had to come to your blog to find the poem as the link in Mr. Linky doesn’t bring me to it.
