(Wel)come Home
please don’t throw stones
at my glass house
I want to see the sun
rising and setting
the moon and stars
dancing through the night
seasons performing magic
before my eyes
I want windows that open wide
inviting the scents of
calming lavender and sage
to stay awhile
the sounds of birds to wend
their way through this space
I want doors that open both ways
so friends can always come and go
Love this, Candy. I want my doors to open both ways always, too. 🙂

I like the idea of a glass house. It is one way to have a wall to protect from bad weather and yet not have it as well.

I like doors that open booth ways. They are almost as good as pocket doors and a lot faster getting in and out. We call them swinging doors here in Texas. They were very popular in the saloons of the Old West.
