she has shrugged off her
dusty old life
an always-be-prepared life
a big purse-sun hat-umbrella
kind of life
her steady reliable self
is hanging from a hook
near the back door and
she has run off to
play with the Leviathan
A place for poems and pics
I envy her escape! Well done.
Thanks for visiting.

Oh, such delirious freedom, to shrug off “reliable self” and “an always-be-prepared life”. I’m a bit envious.

Reminds me of an old couple in the retirement home of a friends grandparents who were caught en flagrante delicto in a car in the grounds … Both were married and well in their eighties …oh dear !
