d’Verse Poets Pub Quadrille #30
It’s a ‘drizzle’ kind day with Mish tending bar at the pub
This is one of those poems that took off and wrote itself 😉

Sculpting En Plein Air
Drops began to drizzle
The day work began
His spirit began to frizzle
Under rainy clouds
Desire began to fizzle
He had lost the sizzle
Of sculpting his true love
She began to shiver
Could not hold the pose
He put down his chisel

Betterment
Let the past remind us
Not rewind us
Peace will bloom in
Soils of change
Winds of wisdom
Hearts enlightened
Let us not forget
That we are the rain

I Want To Know
How the moon learned
to shine
Why planets don’t
get dizzy – spinning
What the stars do
during the day
Where clouds find
rain and snow
Who whispers to
the wind
When you knew
you
loved
me

Carpe Diem #1034 “let the rain kiss you”

inside my small tent
ancient melodies recalled
rain taps a sweet song
foggy window
on a rainy afternoon
children’s canvas
wipers swish
squeak and flop
clear the glass
rain keeps on
won’t give up
travel on
singing tunes
you and me
journey home

It’s the power of three today in the Garden. Here’s a Tricube.

on a rainy afternoon
the sky is wrapped
in a gray wooly blanket
across the garden
tree branches sway
in a solemn dance
