Imaginary Garden with Real Toads
And the Moon ~ Micro Poetry
Silent Moon
The stars wink at each other
As I stand
Howling at the moon
The moon does not howl back
Carpe Diem Namasté, The Spiritual Way #3 spiritual love based on Zen Buddhism
~
field of flowers
faces turned toward the light
sun salutation
This is a door I spotted when I was walking around Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
It is now a gift shop in what was once an older residential area called Kinderhook. I really liked the door bell in the center of the door.

Carpe Diem #1153 Raku, Japanese pottery
~
infused in tea leaves
spirit of ancient craftsman
imperfect tea bowl
Carpe Diem Only The First Line #25 the sound of rain
~
the sound of rain
drumming softly in the night
lullaby
d’verse Quadrille #26 – ghost
Kim has us ghost busting today at the Poets Pub. I’m afraid mine turned a little maudlin. It’s not based on anything personal, just how my muse chose to write today.
~
Just Gone
I searched for you
Among the tumbled
Crumbled tombstones
I sat quietly in
Vaulted cathedrals
Watching flickering candles
But you did not appear
Not a wisp or
A touch of cold air
You are nowhere
There is no ghostly you
To fill this void
Carpe Diem Namasté the Spiritual Way #2 pilgrimage
~
eyes closed, head bowed
the only sound my heart
inner pilgrimage

Betterment
Let the past remind us
Not rewind us
Peace will bloom in
Soils of change
Winds of wisdom
Hearts enlightened
Let us not forget
That we are the rain

I found this “work of art” on my walk this morning. Thought it would work for Cee’s Oddball Challenge.
