brightens pathway home

cherry blossoms linger
after her bath

on evening breeze

as daylight fades

she smooths her moistened skin
with fragrant herbs

proud eagle

carries humble cup bearer

to the king

swift waterfall

cascading down the mountain

where the waters flow afar

buds covered with ants

strutting rooster crows
as morning brightens the sky
farmer sips his tea

spirits of ancient
monks praying on small islands
mist over the lake

fine veins on tender wings
yellow pollen on body and legs

monarch will you fly high
to live or stay and fade away

muddy footprints of
children on a rainy day
