Burning Inspiration–dVerse Quadrille # – Victoria has us turning up the heat in the Pub with this prompt
—
Moon Burn
I love the gentleness of the moon
Softly glowing without intensity
We can gaze at each other
Without protection
No need for moon glasses
Or moon screen
Moonbeams drift
Harmlessly down to kiss my
Up-turned face and there
Is no danger of getting burned
Candy, I like you unique take on the prompt and all that reflects the gentleness of moonlight. Lovely.

I hadn’t thought of the potential need for moon glasses or moon screen before. Interesting perspective on moonlight.

The moon beats the sun hands down in being able to have her worshippers look her in the face 🙂

Such an original take on the prompt, Candy! I love the way you have upheld the gentleness of the moon throughout the poem with the prompt word saved up until the end – and even then it’s not harmful.

Nice one! That is one of the great things about the moon. The light is gentle and you can actually look at the moon and smile.

Have never thought of it quite that way, though I write of her “borrowed light” so often. Wonderful, Candy. LOVE:

I love the idea of moon screen and moon glasses. There’s something here for me about friendship, too, the regard of equals. Lovely.
