Moon Burn
I love the gentleness of the moon
Softly glowing without intensity
We can gaze at each other
Without protection
No need for moon glasses
Or moon screen
Moonbeams drift
Harmlessly down to kiss my
Up-turned face and there
Is no danger of getting burned

Such an original take on the prompt, Candy! I love the way you have upheld the gentleness of the moon throughout the poem with the prompt word saved up until the end – and even then it’s not harmful.

Nice one! That is one of the great things about the moon. The light is gentle and you can actually look at the moon and smile.
