Moon Questions
what does the moon see from
its perch high above?
does it see the clouds and
storms that swirl?
does it see the ocean rise up
in anger?
does it see the earth cracking
apart, cities crumbling?
what does the moon hear from
its perch high above?
does it hear winds howling
across grasslands?
does it hear crying coming from
each corner of the globe?
or is the moon so far away
that earth is a pleasant blur
of blue and green and the cries
are just a whisper?
I think the moon is a silent listener who never tells you anything but the thing you want to hear.

I think the moon is the dreamcatcher.

I wonder what changes one can measure that the moon goes through because of its close relationship to the Earth and the Sun and how that all affects changes to us.

YES! The moon is mysterious on its own. And inquisitive. I’m sure it would question everything.

I concur with your last question. Our cacophony of cries are nothing more than a gentle hum.

The moon questions all it sees and hears … then leaves so the sun can make it all clear.

Very well chosen Candy! Very true! The moon sees everything that any other does not (except Providence)

The moon is an ancient, silent witness to the Earth’s quandaries. ❤
