Deep in the Night

Sometimes when I’m all alone
When light has surrendered
Darkness blurs the lines
Then fantasy rules the night

When light has surrendered
I quickly take to my bed
Pull the covers over my head

Darkness blurs the lines
Right and wrong are blended
Into imaginary possibilities

Then fantasy rules the night
I peek from my hiding place
Watching as dreams perform

  1. Darkness blurs the lines
    Right and wrong are blended

Sometimes it becomes impossible to distinguish between right from wrong.. as there is a thin line between these two.
One can only hope to follow the light which radiates from their instincts and thus avoid being plunged into darkness.

    Beautifully penned.
    Lots of love,

    drifting away.. childhood suffocates..
Childhood sLows.. adults die as life..

torturing death in life from birth..
    Spoon feeding culture
    large plate from birth..

  3. You have captured that in-between time, betwixt consciousness & REM, when the dervishes from our day swirl into & are swallowed up by the night; several pieces done about night out here on the trail
