These feels like an autumn poems. I suppose where one is, if in a drought state it could seem like autumn.
Most trees have average life spans. And sometimes they too, have illnesses.
There are so many beliefs about souls. Some say there are and infinite amount. And others – there is a finite amount, thus reincarnation.

Oh, this is painful…our beautiful maple just died because of the drought and has to be removed. :0( Beautifully expressed though.
